Affiliate Disclosure
01 How VirtualCandy makes money
Running an independent review site takes time and money. To keep it free for readers, we take part in affiliate programs run by some of the AI companion apps we review. When you click certain links on our site and then sign up or make a purchase, the app may pay us a commission or a share of the revenue.
This costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go to the app directly.
02 How affiliate links work
When you click an affiliate link, the partner may place a cookie in your browser so they can credit the referral to us if you subscribe. Our outbound partner links are marked as sponsored links, and some are routed through our own tracking path (for example virtualcandy-ai.com/go/…) before sending you to the partner.
- You are never obligated to use our links.
- You can clear cookies or visit an app directly at any time.
- See our Privacy Policy for how tracking data is handled.
03 It does not affect our reviews
This is the part that matters most to us. Earning a commission never changes what we write:
- We rank apps on how they perform in testing — not on how much they pay.
- We name the downsides of every app, including ones we earn from.
- If an app isn't worth it, we say so, commission or not.
- We also cover apps that have no affiliate program when they're relevant.
Our reputation depends on being honest. A dishonest recommendation might earn one commission — and lose your trust for good. That's a bad trade, and we don't make it.
04 Which apps we may earn from
We may earn affiliate commissions from some of the apps featured on this site. The specific partners can change over time as programs open or close. Whenever a page contains affiliate links, you'll also see a short disclosure on that page.
05 Questions
